🎭 Combat Tactics:

The Count does not fight. If attacked, he:

  • • Opens portal beneath attacker (exile to random hostile domain)
  • • Freezes time, rearranges battlefield to his advantage
  • • Calls in Ledger debt ("You owe me 5 points—defend me now")
  • • Simply vanishes, reappears elsewhere
  • If genuinely threatened: Reality itself reshapes to protect him (Trickster decides consequence)

💎 Loot/Reward:

N/A. The Count cannot be looted. If somehow defeated (campaign-ending event), Nowhere Land itself might unravel. Trickster creates apocalyptic resolution.

Design Note: The Count should never be a combat encounter in standard campaigns. Use as narrative force, not stat block.

+5 HP/round in darkness. Light sources negate.

🎯 Tactics:

  • Phase 1: Remain invisible. Hit-and-run attacks. Target weakest Anima.
  • Phase 2: Aggressive assault. Use Fear Scream immediately. Maintain darkness.
  • Retreat: Below 10 HP, flees through nearest shadow. Returns with reinforcements.

Guardians of Domains

Genii are manifestations of a domain's Willpower—semi-intelligent guardians tied to specific Exaltations. They protect the domain from corruption and can grant Blessings to worthy travelers.

Essences: Varies by domain (typically +2/+3/+2/+5)

HP: Domain Willpower × 10

Defenses: Tied to ecosystem (fire Genius immune to fire)

Resistances: Cannot leave domain
